EXPM offers turn-key solutions for the preservation and restoration of laboratories and workshops. We provide installation, end-user training and technical assistance. Our service is all-embracing comprising space suitability issues, specific infrastructures, equipment, logistics and technical support, depending on the nature, dimension and specifics of each project. EXPM is a European company specializing in anoxia systems for the disinfestation of cultural items, in Archives, Libraries and Museums. A wide range of effective tools for pest control procedures in Archives, Libraries and Museums have been developed by us.
Pest Control Specialists
The Equipment and services EXPM provides deal with pest (as above) control. This Strategy should be established in collaboration with the appropriate departments in Cultural Institutions, and will consist of risk assessments and techniques to prevent potential infestations so as to reduce the risk of loss or degradation of objects and documents. We are available to help define and implement these strategies through the application of our expertise in these areas and further by providing specific solutions and equipment for the capture, identification and elimination of sources of contamination. We will participate actively in a variety of projects aimed at the conservation and preservation of materials and will seek to find appropriate equipment and techniques, always with special emphasis on developing user/environmentally friendly technologies. We regularly participate in research projects associated with Universities and Research Laboratories operating in these areas. We attend the most important conferences and seminars, both in Portugal and abroad as speakers and observers.
